The Tiny Chapel has been tastefully converted by the owners, with modern amenities working in perfect unison with period features. Such details include the original stone exterior, arched chapel windows, exposed timber beams, and a gorgeous, vaulted ceiling. Besides its abundance of rustic charm, it has all the mod cons needed for a relaxing countryside retreat.

The ground floor houses an open-plan communal space. The kitchen area is well equipped and there is a dining area which easily seats four.

The living area has two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, a Smart TV, a Bluetooth sound system with B&W ceiling speakers, and a wood burner to keep you nice and warm in the colder months.

Step outside the patio doors and into the back garden, where you will find the decking area with outdoor furniture, a hot tub, and lovely 180-degree views of the Northumberland countryside. This is the ideal spot for a morning coffee or a BBQ in the evening.

Head back inside and ascend the feature staircase to get to the bedrooms. Both sit under stunning vaulted, timber-framed ceilings. The master bedroom has a freestanding bath in the room, and a stunning, hand-made, timber king-size bed with Tempur mattress, while the second bedroom has two equally lovely singles.

While Low Gate is a countryside retreat, it remains easily accessible by car, with ample parking available. The village is within a reasonable distance from towns like Hexham and the village of Corbridge, which offer rail connections to Newcastle and beyond.

Hexham Train Station is 2.5 miles away from Low Gate and has regular direct services operating to Carlisle, Middlesbrough, Morpeth, Newcastle upon Tyne and Whitby.
